ROSWA PARK BANDIT
The most exciting new endurance stallion born in 2023, Bandit is out of a legendary Marcon mare and sired by a strong, classically bred performance stallion. Bandit’s dam is a full sister to Marcon Ios Conquero, currently the highest-ranked endurance stallion in the world. Conquero’s pedigree represents the pinnacle of Australian endurance breeding, built from bloodlines that have consistently produced elite athletes at the highest level of the sport. His grand-dams—Flirt (Silwan × Moonamet) and Chip Chase Carissa (Cherokee Mecca × Tarney)—are among the most successful endurance broodmares in recent history. These mares were paired with Aethon, a legendary sire whose impact on the sport is almost unmatched, and Ikari Iskander, a stallion whose performance record continues to stand as proof of his genetic value. This is a lineage that has become globally recognised not only for its success, but for producing horses with some of the best cardiovascular efficiency and heart rate recovery ever recorded. This is exemplified in Bullio Blue Sue—a two-time world champion and half-sister to Conquero—who recorded a resting heart rate of just 25 bpm. This world-class dam line is beautifully matched by Bandit’s sire, Shemali Silver Saran. His grandsire, Saran, produced some of the highest-performing Arabians in the country, dominating the early Tasmanian endurance scene and leaving a lasting legacy in the pedigrees of Tom Quilty winners. Most notably, Saran sired Sarisha, the record holder for the most kilometres completed in endurance competition ever —amounting to over 16,000 km, a record many believe will never be even closely rivalled. It is through Shemali Silver Saran that Bandit carries concentrated lines to the foundational sires Shahzada, Sherif, and Kataf—names synonymous with bone, soundness, and true staying power. These lines have consistently produced horses with exceptional recovery, durability, and longevity in competition. Rowsa Park Bandit brings together the cardiovascular excellence of the Conquero line with the classic strength and structure of Australia’s most proven endurance foundations. He represents a rare balance of athleticism, depth, and breeding integrity—an opportunity to move your program forward with purpose.

SHARDELL KRUSADER
Shardell Krusader is a stallion of size, strength, and stamina. He is held in the highest regard by some of the world’s leading endurance trainers. He stands tallest among a dynasty of Shardell horses — themselves among the most highly prized in international endurance. The result of decades of purposeful selection, Krusader represents the pinnacle of a program dedicated to producing world-class athletes. Krusader’s two grandsires — Princeton and Arabian Park Desert Dashar — are near full brothers, both drawn from performance-focused Egyptian lines with a subtle influence of foundational Shahzada blood. Princeton was particularly notable for consistently producing horses with heart, speed, and athleticism, earning one of the most accomplished progeny performance records in Australian endurance. Among his offspring is Lauralyn Notorious, a Tom Quilty winner and one of the most celebrated endurance horses in the country’s history. Princeton was also the sire of Shardell Aladdin, who won the Sheikh Mohammed Cup and placed third in the President’s Cup — the two fastest and most competitive races in the world. What is striking about Krusader’s pedigree is that, beyond the Princeton lines, deep within it lies a wealth of performance blood responsible for some of the greatest endurance horses ever produced in Australia. Take, for example, Pharaon — a line not often seen in Australia — who is the grandsire of Aloha Delta, the sire of Magic Glenn Galah, one of the best endurance horses ever, with three wins and eight top-five finishes in the UAE, including second place in the HH Sheikh Mohammed Cup (160 km at 25.5 km/h) and, just one month later, victory in the President’s Cup at 27 km/h. Furthermore, Krusader’s pedigree features Heista, who has every reason to be considered the greatest Australian broodmare. She is the dam of Aethon and has played an influential role in the success of top horses from stables such as Castlebar and Bullio. Another key component adding depth to Krusader’s bloodlines is Sherif, one of my all-time favourite stallions, who appears in the background of many greats. For instance, Sherif is the sire of Razali — currently the most trending horse on the Yamamah app — and the grandsire of Tom Quilty winner and 2014 World Champion Kurrajong Concorde. Shardell Krusader represents the new generation of endurance performance-bred horses. His pedigree has depth and completeness; he combines strength, toughness, and fluid movement — and he will be one of the great sires.
