Elite Performance Arabian Horse Available
Class Act Te

Class Act Te
Class Act Te is the most beautifully natured and beyond talented mare. She is a rare opportunity for someone to obtain some of the best blood lines Australia has to offer, as well as a ready-to-go elite endurance horse.
Her full brother is one of the biggest, strongest, and most athletic purebred Arabians I have ever seen, standing at a measured 16 hands. Although she is smaller, Class Act Te, undoubtedly still carries the gene for size and would deservedly be the centrepiece of any elite and considered breeding program.
Pedigree: Filled with Tom Quilty Gold Cup Champions
Class Act Te boasts a full pedigree. First and foremost, she is a Chip Chase Sadaqa granddaughter—no words I could ever write would do this Tom Quilty–winning stallion any justice. She has his quiet, mannered, yet willing, competitive, and professional temperament, and I feel a lot of his pure natural talent, ability, and heart. Her other Grandsire is Sh’taan, the sire of the three time Tom Quilty winner and one of the most dominant horses in Australian history, Brookleigh Excalibur. Sh’taan’s excellence continues to be shown overseas today, with his son, Zippidy Dodah Te completing the last leg of the 160km Sheikh Mohammed Cup the fastest, averaging over 32 kilometres per hour to finish 1 minute behind the winner. She is a granddaughter of Sh’taan through her father, All that Jazz Te, who recorded a pre-ride resting heart-rate of 23 bpm. The mother of All that Jazz, and Class Acts’ grandmother is Bramall Jazzmin, a champion in her own right, successfully completing over 5000km, including a Silver Team Medal at the World Championships, Tevis cup completion, Presidents Cup completion, and multiple l Quilty buckles. Furthermore, Jazzmin was sired by the beautifully bred Aquinator, who also produced Tora-Blar Zay, the Tom Quilty winner known for recording one of the fastest times in the event’s history. Class Act Te is the granddaughter of Chip Chase Sadaqa through her mother Desert Wings Dasaqa. The mother of Dasaqa, and Class Acts maternal grandmother, to complete the pedigree, is Aloha Natalie. Aloha Natalie has a deep and accomplished pedigree. Importantly, her father is Arabian Park Desert Dashar, an almost full brother to Princeton - the sire of numerous champions including Tom Quilty Winner and one of the most accomplished horses in Australian Endurance, Lauralyn Notorious. The tail-female line continues with depth, tracing 6 generations back to, Scherzade, one of the most influential Arabian mares in Australian breeding, and dam of both Sirocco and Royal Domino (a faultless tail-female line). Deep in the tail line there is also a touch of the performance-proven Egyptian lines through Ibn Moniet El Nefous, whose lines are known to throw strong bone with high density and metabolics to run 100 miles on the smell of an oily rag. This is a complete pedigree. In every line, there is history, performance, and purpose. Trust the blood.
Class Acte Te as a horse:
As a 7 year old mare, She is currently in full-work preparing for her first 80km. She does everything effortlessly, a pleasure on the ground and magnificent to ride. She had her early work with two highly experienced and technical French riders and her manners and professionalism have only developed since. Her conformation is correct, carries herself with strength, and subtleness. She would make a highly competitive horse for a lightweight rider - I can see her having the most impressive career that she makes look all too easy - Class Act feels like the most fitting name.
JE SUIS STEEL POPPY

Special Opportunity Available -Sold Congratulations - Future Champ
Je Suis is a top-tier horse. He is showing every sign of a champion, from temperament to movement to conformation. On top of this, he’s a lovely horse to spend time with, shows maturity beyond his years, and absolutely adores people.
World-Class Breeding: Combination of the best of both Australia and France.
His dam line is the culmination of decades of breeding. It’s full with the highest-performing lines, including The Chip Chase Sadaqa, Gaspar (GB), Dorian Bay, Spindrift, Argent, and the list continues with some of the best Australia has to offer.
This is crossed with the imported French stallion, the magnificent, Djehlbi. This stallion’s sire has produced some of the top-performing French horses, winning premier races such as Florac and averaging speeds of up to 28 kilometres per hour over 120 km at Royal Windsor. These performances reflect his pedigree, featuring one of my all-time favourites, Fawzan, who seems to give horses unmatched metabolics—able to go all day without ever needing to even draw breath. Furthermore, the dam line of Djehlbi is the best of classic French breeding. It features Mangante, one of the most influential stallions in France, as well as Arax, who holds a prominent position in the pedigree of Persik—in the eyes of many, the best endurance stallion of all time.
About Je Suis Steel Poppy:
He is 9 years of age, with strong bone and a solid yet fluid and balanced build, reaching 15 hh. A beautiful liver chestnut. His feet and legs are in immaculate condition, and having grown up in the mountains, he is as sure-footed and strong as they come.
He has a calm and willing nature. Although deeply kind and humble, I think he knows how special he is—and with this comes a bit of attitude, which all great endurance horses probably need anyway. He was broken in by the best and has been well educated while in light work.
I really love this horse. He was bred by—and belongs to—Jan Tyrrell, a legend of the sport in many respects, who taught me a lot growing up. His name translates to “I am Steel Poppy”—a clever and fitting way to name the favourite of the last-ever Steel Poppy horses to be produced. Je Suis Steel Poppy has every ability to live up to his name, and under changing circumstances—as time inevitably brings—his beloved owner is looking for the perfect home for him.
He is very loved, and for this reason, it’s Jan’s preference that he stays in Australia, in an experienced endurance home where she can watch him do what he does best. A horse of his calibre remaining in Australia feels like a rare opportunity.
