Abrock Ned Challenge

The Abrock Ned Challenge is to encourage training in the early part of the Australian Endurance Horse Riding season. Competitors are committing to 3 days training over the long weekend in January, riding 10km per day (at anytime up until 1pm on the last day) at a training location of their choice. After completing their ride the horses are strapped, heart rate within 10mins is taken and recorded. The lowest average heart rate recorded for the one horse over those three days wins! It is an honesty competition, designed to create a bit of fun before the season starts. 'Abrock Ned' lives at our training facility at Kholo Australia. He was one of our first endurance horses back in 1997, gifted by our wonderful friends and neighbours Jo & Marty after the sudden & tragic passing of our first endurance horse.
